Trust & Compliance

Your freight is your business. Here's how we protect it with rigorous carrier vetting, verified insurance, and transparent processes.

How We Vet Carriers

Every carrier must pass our 30-point vetting checklist before moving a single load. No exceptions.

Authority Check

  • Active FMCSA authority verified
  • MC# operating for 180+ days
  • No pending revocations
  • UCR registration current

Insurance Verification

  • $1M auto liability minimum
  • $100K cargo insurance minimum
  • Certificate on file before dispatch
  • Insurance verified active same-day

Safety Review

  • FMCSA safety rating checked
  • CSA scores reviewed
  • Recent crash history flagged
  • Out-of-service rate monitored

Double Brokering Prevention

Double brokering—when a carrier re-brokers your load without permission—is the #1 fraud risk in trucking. Here's how we prevent it:

  • Explicit Contract Prohibition: Our carrier agreement includes $10,000 liquidated damages for double brokering
  • Dispatch Service Detection: "Dispatch service" language in communications triggers immediate review and rejection
  • Identity Verification: We verify the driver who picks up matches the carrier we booked
  • Payment Verification: We verify bank account ownership before carrier payment
  • Red Flag Monitoring: New MC#, Gmail/Yahoo emails, and payment method changes all trigger manual review

Document Handling

BOL (Bill of Lading)

We collect BOL at pickup to confirm freight is loaded. No load status advances to "picked up" without BOL evidence. Photos accepted.

POD (Proof of Delivery)

Signed POD required before marking delivered. We verify signature, delivery timestamp, and any exceptions noted. No POD, no invoice.

Claims Process

Claims are handled per Carmack Amendment guidelines:

  • Immediate Documentation: Report damage at delivery. Take photos. Note exceptions on POD.
  • File Within 9 Months: Carmack Amendment requires claims filed within 9 months of delivery
  • We Coordinate: We work with the carrier's insurance on your behalf
  • Timeline: Most claims resolve in 30-120 days depending on complexity
  • Transparency: You'll receive updates throughout the process
